The arts–reaching out to all ages.

This past Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, the San Diego band, Todo Mundo, put on two school residencies for the youth of Spearfish.

Todo Mundo, in Spearfish to perform at The Matthews Opera House on Saturday, Oct. 3, started our their day very early on Friday.

Thanks to a grant from Spearfish Foundation for Public Education (SFPE), the kids from Creekside Elementary and Canyon Hills Center got to meet the three talented musicians up close and personal.  The rhythmic music easily swayed people of every age in the gymnasium.  After the performance, a small group of fourth-grade music students got a more intimate talk about their music.

Later, in the afternoon, the residents of Canyon Hills Center received a private concert and talk.  A large group of these kids were treated to the Saturday night performance at The Matthews.

Just below are some videos and pictures from the day.
