Dakota Wind Quintet to perform Lakota student compositions Sept. 10

The Matthews is excited to present a concert performed by South Dakota Symphony Orchestra’s Dakota Wind Quintet. The quintet is playing music composed by Lakota high school youth during the SDSO Music Composition Academy at Crazy Horse Memorial. The academy took place Aug. 13-19.

AUDITIONS for “Angel Street” take place Sept. 7

Director, Julie Walkins, will conduct auditions for the classic drama, “Angel Street,” from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 7 in The Matthews’ theater. Play performances are two weekends – Oct. 26-29 and Nov. 2-5, 2017. Scroll down for audition details.
