Portland Cello Project coming to The Matthews Jan. 19
The Portland Cello Project (or PCP, as their fans affectionately call them) takes The Matthews stage at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 19, 2018. PCP has wowed audiences all over the country with extravagant performances, everywhere from Prairie Home Companion, to that punk rock club in the part of town your grandma warns you not to go to after dark. The group has built a reputation mixing genres and blurring musical lines and perceptions wherever they go.
This is the fourth event of our 2017-18 Subscription Series season. Cost is $25 adults, $10 youth & BHSU students. Individual tickets will be available for sale on Sept. 1.

“Howlingly funny.”-Variety
“The audience all but exploded the theatre with laughter.”– The New York Post
“Hilarious, a tribute to the art of acting” – Washington Post
“Sharp, satiric, & funny” – New Yorker
“A whale of a funny evening”– Houston Post
Greater Tuna is the hilarious comedy about Texas’ third-smallest town — where the Lion’s Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. The eclectic band of citizens (20!) that make up this town are portrayed by only a few performers. Which makes this satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna — men, women, children, and animals.
Thurs.-Sat.: 7:30 p.m.
$5 for Youth and BHSU students
