On Monday, Dec. 15, The Matthews’ board president, Dan Contonis, presented a check for $1,500 to Spearfish High School assistant director, Brenna Meyer. The check was the result of ticket proceeds from the high school’s presentation of “Arsenic and Old Lace” on The Matthews’ stage Dec. 4-6.
This is going to be fun. The audience is going to reap the benefits of this cast because they are going to be having a blast. Director, Max G. Merchen announced the cast for the February play, “Last Round-up of the Guacamole Queens” this morning. See below for the cast. Rehearsals start in ernest in January.

The Matthews is very pleased and excited to be presenting the encore performance of Spearfish High School’s (SHS) “Arsenic and Old Lace.” The students originally performed the play on November 10-11, 2014. The kids and the play are moving over to The Matthews for 3 nights. All proceeds will benefit the SHS Drama Department.

Director Brenna Meyer has announced the cast for “Cafe Murder.” This play is a fun murder mystery that will be performed “in-the-round” as the centerpiece of The Matthews’ 2014 Fall Gala Fundraiser on October 18 at the Spearfish Holiday Inn Convention Center.
