The next couple of days, we’ll post a bit about the actors in our upcoming play, “CLUE: The Musical.” Director Brenna Meyer has been thrilled to work with a cast that is so talented, and better yet, like each other. Not a difficult one among them.
Gerry Bennett as Mister Green
Gerry Bennett is a relative newcomer to acting. In the last few years, Gerry played Uncle Aubrey in “Red Velvet Cake War” and its sequel “Rex’s Exes.” With Clue being his third appearance on stage, he would like to thank the encouraging cast, Matthew’s Opera House for the opportunity, and the directors for believing in him.
Hailima Yates as Detective
Hailima Yates is a native of Colorado who just recently moved back to Spearfish after taking time in her life to travel. She’s had the pleasure of performing with many talented actors in plays such as “Rule of Thumb,” “George Carver,” “My Culture Sounds Like…,” and “Inner Thoughts.” Clue is her first play at the Matthew’s Opera House and she’s excited to be working with such a wonderful director, cast and crew, and being a part of the local community.
Kirk Hauk as Mister Boddy
Kirk attends BHSU pursuing degrees in both psychology and music. He had the wonderful opportunity to perform at Matthew’s Opera House in “The Greatest Christmas Pageant Ever” as a child and is thrilled to be returning for Clue. Previous roles include Demetrius in “Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” Collatinus in “The Rape of Lucretia,” and Caldwell in “Urinetown.”
