BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised in northwestern Illinois, Jayne Rose found her talent in art at a very early age–kindergarten. All through grade school, high school, and college, the visual arts were her main focus–along with getting married, having two daughters, and running a busy country inn and fine dining restaurant. The last couple of items on that list took her away from art.

Growing up in Deadwood in the 40s and 50s gave Adam a sense of history and an affinity for all things antique. Early on, he was fascinated by the paintings of swashbuckling pirates in Howard Pyle’s books. Since his earliest memories, Adam has carved and drawn.

The work of Barbara Kieffer Rowe is an exploration of nature, combining her background in art, geology and paleontology, and upbringing on a ranch in the Black Hills of South Dakota.  Within this context, she has taught, worked as a professional geologist, and explored rock patterns, fossils, and scenes of grandeur within this region.  Throughout her career, she has continuously created art.  She is currently is a full-time artist.
