This collaborative art project will be unveiled during the opening reception of “The Big Read Art Collective,” 5-7 p.m., Mar. 4 in the art gallery. The show continues through Mar. 31.
Gallery visitors are invited to write about their thoughts on what they feel makes an item valuable. As people add their ideas to the pieces of colored paper, we will decoupage them to our 4-foot paper mache falcon. Multi-colored paper is available in the art gallery all month long.
This project started on Jan. 9 and will continue until the unveiling during the open reception at 5-7 p.m., Friday, Mar. 4. The Treasured Falcon will be on display through Mar. 31.
