2023 Summer Art Series
The Matthews Opera House and Arts Center is excited to announce that their Summer Art Series will be unveiled on May 19 with an opening reception from 5-7 pm.
This showcase features the talents of Black Hills artists with an incredible display of high-quality pieces on exhibit. The opening night event is offered free to the public. Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available.
The Summer Art Series is open to the public through Labor Day during regular business hours, Monday – Friday, 10 am – 5 pm. The series is structured to support the local artistic community with every piece in the gallery ready to sell and take home the same day.
The Matthews will begin exhibiting the work of contracted artists beginning Monday, May 15 through September 2. An opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Friday, May 19 from 5-7 pm in the Matthews Gallery.
