Upcoming Events at the Matthews

COMING UP AT THE MATTHEWS

It’s 2021 and things are finally picking up again at the Matthews Opera House!

While we are still being cautious about in-person events, we have some great distanced and virtual events coming up!

If you love art, make sure to stop by the BHSU Student & Faculty Art Show on display now in our gallery.

This Friday, we will be celebrating Chinook Days with our Snow Sculptures on Main Street! Stop by the corner of Hudson and Main between 1-4 pm to participate.

For kiddos looking for something to do, we have a virtual play opportunity! Auditions for “Mirror Mirror: A Virtual Fractured Fairy Tale” are in early February.

And finally…IT’S ALMOST NEA BIG READ TIME!

That’s right! The NEA Big Read: Spearfish starts in February and we hope you are excited as we are. We have a lot of great things planned that will be announced really soon, but for now, mark down the week of February 9 on your calendars and make sure to stop by during that time to pick up your free copy of A Wizard of Earthsea.

To find out more about any of these events, just keep scrolling!

Cheers,
The Matthews Staff
