Two performances of Theater 605’s Space Pirates brought 55 kids into the seats of our historic house this June, many of them at their very first show.
Afterward, Theater 605 told us The Matthews is one of the best partner venues they work with anywhere, and asked to come back next season. We lowered ticket prices to keep the show within reach for families, and the full house told us it was the right call.
A kid who sees a stage full of pirates today is a kid who auditions tomorrow. That is the whole idea.
