This June, The Matthews launched Spearfish’s first Art Walk: seven downtown businesses opened their walls and windows to 60 pieces of local art.
Walkers picked up maps, collected stamps at each stop, and entered a drawing along the way. It is a simple idea with a big purpose, art belongs in the middle of everyday life, and downtown Spearfish is exactly where our artists should be seen.
