Two Spearfish residents, Kay Jorgensen and Dick Termes, were recently inducted into the South Dakota Hall of Fame at Headquarters in Chamberlain, SD.

Local historian and writer, Paul Higbee, will highlight some of the members of the South Dakota Hall of Fame and describe the program that was established in 1974 to recognize South Dakota leaders.

Kay Jorgensen and Dick Termes will share their experience with our Bellman audience at the Induction Ceremony on September 13, 2014.

Please join us to honor our local inductees and learn about other South Dakota leaders in the fields of arts, education, government, agriculture, business and history.

What is the Bellman?

The Bellman Brown Bag series is a humanities program designed to explore ideas, history, literature, art and culture. Programs are presented on the second Wednesday of each month, noon to 1:00 p.m. Designed to begin and end within each lunch hour, patrons are invited to bring their lunch, if desired, or simply enjoy an hour of learning and entertainment.
