On November 30, the Matthews Opera House & Arts Center, along with the entire state of South Dakota, will be celebrating South Dakota Day of Giving. This is a day to celebrate all the nonprofits in our state and the incredible work they do! As a 501c3 organization ourselves, we want to thank YOU for supporting us this past year. Whether you have donated money or time, attended a performance, or even just shared one of our posts on social media…..you have helped our mission here at the Matthews Opera House!
As we continue to work on getting back to normal after COVID-19, we can’t forget about the amazing support we have received from the Spearfish community and we are overwhelmed with gratitude. On this day of giving, we hope you will consider donating again!
Day of Giving Donor Gift
As a special thank you to everyone who donates $50 or more ON the Day of Giving (November 30), we will be gifting hand-crafted Matthews Opera House mugs made by local artist Will Lopez. There are only 100 of these limited edition mugs, so they will only be available while supplies last. (Full gift details below)
Donations help us bring more of the arts to the Black Hills! Our Day of Giving funds help us provide free community arts programming and affordable access to nationally renowned performance groups through our Subscription Series. It provides for our community theatre to continue producing incredible shows and ensures that we can continue to provide a place for local artists to have their work seen and heard. We hope you consider helping us!
