Join us in the Matthews Theater on Saturday, February 4 from 5-8 pm for a free, 18+, figure drawing workshop.

This fun workshop for adults will feature drawing from live, costumed models in a historic theater atmosphere! The theme of the evening will be fantasy and mythos, as inspired by the Big Read novel, Circe.

BHSU Art Professor Desy Schoenewies will provide drawing demos and give away prizes at the end of the evening. Limited drawing materials will be available for use-participants are encouraged to bring their own art supplies. No experience is necessary to participate in this event. Artists of all abilities–from curious beginners to students and professionals–are encouraged to participate.

This 18+ event will feature music and adult beverages for sale. Costumes are optional but encouraged for all participants. At the end of the evening, we’ll have a costume contest!

This event is free. A free-will donation is suggested but not required. All donations received help to support free programming at the Matthews, which includes this and other artist workshops.
