Fifteen years on

A Mystery That Uses the Whole Street

Theater on the Run started in 2012 and has sold out every year since. This year is the fifteenth, and it falls in the Matthews’ 120th — which is why the ticket is $30 instead of the usual $40. Murder at Legend Manor is an original mystery by C.A. Dougherty, who wrote, directed and acted at the Matthews for more than a decade and served as vice president of its board. She died in early 2026. This is her last mystery, and the royalties are her gift to the theater.
