Bassist Andrew Reinartz has performed with the South Dakota Symphony since 2001. He also performs with several jazz ensembles including the Dakota Jazz Collective and Main Avenue Warehouse. He has acted as both producer and arranger in addition to playing on “Fall is a Good Time to Die.”
Dobro player Dalton Coffey originally hails from Arkansas. Although he has called Sioux Falls his home for a decade, his time touring with bluegrass bands in the South heavily influenced his playing style. The new album was recorded by Coffey in his Sioux Falls studio.
Flat-picker Dylan James collaborated with Jami Lynn on their 2013 album Cluck & Croon. Made up of folk & jazz covers and originals, the project forged a two-year musical partnership between the two. Dylan James lends his talent on the guitar on a few tunes on the new album, and the album release tour.
