Jan. 2018: Art for a New Year
ArtCentral: Art for a New Year

New Years is a time of celebration, hope, goal setting, and optimism about what can be accomplished in the new year. It is a season of resetting, recalibrating, and maybe even recreating. We make resolutions – to try something new, to learn a new skill, or tackle a daunting project.
The turn of the year is a mark of time when we measure and reflect on the closing year. Was this a good year, a hard year, or a year to celebrate and remember? We reflect and resolve to improve in the coming year.

There is a spirit of anticipation in the air. The fall shadowy light and fun creativity of Halloween set the stage for Thanksgiving, and then we eagerly await the winter holidays with the arrival of snow, holiday lights, and decorations. It is time for snowmen and snow angels, hot chocolate and decorated cookies.
ArtCentral Film Festival Season ONE brings 4 films to Spearfish
ArtCentral has partnered with The Northern Hills Rotary Club to create a film series that will benefit the community. Through this series, we use art as a tool – films in this case – to engage our community on specific topics that are relevant to both partnering organizations.
